Getting it done!!!
I was home-schooled until college. Because of this, I was not involved in any sports. My activities were hunting, fishing, camping, climbing trees, making mud forts, and backyard baseball. Instead of hockey sticks and tennis rackets I had firearms, pocket knives, fishing poles, and archery equipment. I loved and still love using these “toys”. However, bow hunting is by far my favorite. So why am I telling you this? Well, because I’m excited that our sovereign God also prepared me to minister to students who are not part of traditional extra curricular activities. God has placed a student named “Homer” at Campus Life in Metamora. Homer isn’t in the mainstream crowd and loves the outdoors. A month ago he was super excited because his birthday was coming and he had asked for a new bow. He was telling me how much he loves being in the woods and how much he loves archery.
